About Tendai sect
This Prayer beads is Tendai's formal rosary .Tendai is a school of Mahayana Buddhism in Japan, a descendant of the Chinese Tiantai or Lotus Sutra school. A center of Japanese Tendai "Enryaku-ji temple" is on Mount Hiei, Northern Kyoto. It's also famous as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
About Lignum vitae
Lignum vitae is a precious wood that is extremely dense and slow-growing, and its name means "tree of life" in Latin. It is popular for use in accessories such as prayer beads and bracelets, as well as for auspicious carvings.
The basic color of lignum vitae ranges from brown to dark green. In Japan, it is common to use lignum vitae beads that have been dyed a deep green.

About Dushan Jade
Dushan Jade is a beautiful gemstone mined from Dushan Mountain in Nanyang City, Henan Province, China. Ranging from semi-translucent to opaque, it resembles jade in appearance.In recent years, Dushan Jade has been frequently used in the making of prayer beads and bracelets. It has a different texture and color than Jade and Indian Jade.
