About kumihimo
Kumihimo is a Japanese word meaning "gathered threads" and it is a form of braid-making.
Cords and ribbons are made by interlacing strands.
It has been used since ancient times, some says it dates back to the 6th century, family members used to pass pattern and techniques verbally to keep them secret. Kumihimo has been used in various ways, for example as a string of armor by samurai, but also as a crown attire. Nowadays kumihimo are used as a ties on haori jackets and obijimes, and as fashionable hair ornaments, dress garments and accessories as well. Kumihimo has appeared in the world-wide known animation movie "Your name" in which the female main charcter, Mitsuha, uses it to tie her hair, while Taki as a bracelet.

The silk ball at the end of the bracelet was not attached when I received the time in the mail. The bracelet is unwearable. I’m disappointed at the quality.

It’s a bit short, you will have to get creative with wearing it on your wrist.
Short - in the way that the image shows, you can’t really fit it on your wrist when it’s twisted like that, but if you try to wear it just straight out without wrapping it twice it’s too long. I found a way to tie it to fit, but the quality is lovely.
