Yamashita Kanjou (1910-1991) was a Japanese painter born in Kagawa Prefecture. He studied under Yamamoto Shunkyo and Takahashi Shuka. He excelled at painting carp. He did not belong to any school and continued to present his work mainly at solo exhibitions as an independent artist.
