Material characteristics and properties
Yakusugi (屋久杉) is a variety of Japanese cedar native of the island of Yakushima that typically grows at altitudes 500 meters and higher and it over 1000 years old. The term also extends to the lumber taken from the logging of these coniferous trees.
These wood beads have a tender fragrance that may help you relax.
It makes a perfect gift or souvenir.
In Japan, Buddhists use Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is a famousproducing center of Prayer beads.
Maintenance
Take off when you shower and before going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend you to take it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with soft fabric.
