About Lacquer Beads
Each lacquer bead is unique; every color and pattern is different.
This bracelet features lacquer beads, crafted using Chinese lacquer artistry – a technique with a history spanning thousands of years, recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The beads use African black ebony wood, specifically Purple Sandalwood (Dalbergia melanoxylon), as their base. They are meticulously finished using the "floating lacquer" technique. This method involves floating lacquer on water and creating unique patterns through dotting, flicking, pulling, and other hand movements on the water's surface, which are then transferred onto the beads.

In addition to the lacquer beads, this bracelet is also accented with black onyx beads. The solemn elegance and subtle luster of the black onyx perfectly balance the vibrance of the lacquer, further highlighting the unique prominence of the main beads.

In Japan, Buddhists use Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is a famous producing center of Prayer beads.

Almost items are shipped by standard airmail with tracking service and insurance (ePacket).
