"kotoima" means "old" "ko(古)" & "now" "ima(今)" in Japanese.
It is a furoshiki aimed at representing both traditional and modern Japan.
The design is traditional but suitable to modern life style.
90cm wrapping cloth can be used as an eco bag, a bottle wrapping, or a table cloth and so on.
About furoshiki
Furoshiki is a single piece of cloth that has been used in Japan since ancient times. The word furoshiki dates back to the Edo period when it became to be widely used by common people as well, expecially in public bath as a bath spread or as a way of wrapping one's clothes.
Even if widely used in other countries besides Japan, furoshiki reflects the Japanese interest in elegant and multifunctional objects, and the thoughtfulness in detail as an approach to everyday life.
