Kiyomizu ware (清水焼 Kiyomizu-yaki) is a type of Kyō ware traditionally from Gojōzaka district near Kiyomizu Temple, in Kyoto.
The history of Kiyomizu ware dates back to the Momoyama period. The earlier production phase is known as Ko-Kiyomizu (old Kiyomizu).
This bracelet has different pattern of the Kiyomizu-yaki flower beads, and the beads are handmade in kyoto kiyomizu.
And kiyomizu-yaki is also called Kyo-yaki.
In Japan, Buddhists have Juzu (Prayer beads, Rosary). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Juzu.We learn such tradition and produce Juzu style Bracelets made of healing stones. Please wear Japanese tradition.
