Lignum vitae wood is said to be the densest wood in the world, grows extremely slowly, and extremely rare, so it is called a "wooden jewel" and is prized.

It has the characteristic of changing to a deeper green color over time. It has been treated like a jewel, since ancient times It was only allowed to have by aristocrats.

In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.

Prayer beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.

Maintenance

Take off when you shower and before going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend you to take it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with soft fabric.
