About Purple Heart Wood
Purple Heart is a wood native to Central and South America. When freshly cut, it is light purple, but it changes to a deep purple when exposed to air. The purple color is natural, not artificial. Its characteristics include being extremely hard, heavy, and highly durable. Purpleheart is used as a material for high-end furniture, interior materials, carvings, and musical instruments.
In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is a famous producing center of Prayer beads.
Maintenance
Take off when you shower and before going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend you to take it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with soft fabric.
