Lapis lazuli is the Traditional birthstone for December and the accepted gem for the seventh and ninth wedding anniversary.

It is the Planetary stone for Capricorn and the Zodiac stone for Libra.

This is a one-handed prayer beads. Since it is an abbreviated rosary, it can be used by any sect.

In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.

Prayer beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.
