This amber is a type of amber produced from China Fushun region. It is a fossil formed about 40 million years ago, its characteristic is that colors such as black and red are mixed and creating various patterns. It is said that the pattern is based on the fact that when amber, which is a tree sap, is fossilized, foreign plants such as plant leaves, flowers, and stones are mixed. Especially rare value among ambers , so the price is higher than normal amber. Because output is extremely small, we receive the impression that quality goods are decreasing from the market year by year.
This is a one-handed prayer beads. Since it is an abbreviated rosary, it can be used by any sect.
In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.
Prayer beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.
