About Tendai sect
This Prayer beads is Tendai's formal rosary .Tendai is a school of Mahayana Buddhism in Japan, a descendant of the Chinese Tiantai or Lotus Sutra school. A center of Japanese Tendai "Enryaku-ji temple" is on Mount Hiei, Northern Kyoto. It's also famous as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
About White Bodhi Seed Beads
Bodhi wood is considered a precious material for making prayer beads, and White Bodhi seed beads are characterized by a circular indentation (the moon) and countless black spots (stars) on their surface, symbolizing the universe of the "Buddhist realm." About Myanmar Jade
