This is a one-handed prayer beads. Since it is an abbreviated rosary, it can be used by any sect.

This amber is a type of amber produced from China Fushun region.
It is a fossil formed about 40 million years ago, its characteristic is that colors such as black and red are mixed and creating various patterns. The beautiful stripe color is like a tiger, so it's called tiger amber in Japanese.

It is said that the pattern is based on the fact that when amber, which is a tree sap, is fossilized, foreign plants such as plant leaves, flowers, and stones are mixed.

China Fushun Amber is especially rare value among ambers , so the price is higher than normal amber.
Rare amber Rosary is suitable for special gifts and anniversaries.

In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.

Prayer beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.
