About jade
Jade is the stone representing calm in the midst of a storm. It's said to balance nerves and sooth cardiac rhythm. A piece of Jade kept in a pocket or on a pendant is believed to recharge energy and protect against illness. Jade may also be used to sooth the shock or fear of the ill in the hospital suffering the distance from home and family.
In Japan, Buddhists use prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is a famous producing center of prayer beeds.
