【About Black Ebony】
Ebony is a tropical evergreen tree widely distributed from South Asia, including India and Sri Lanka, to Africa.
It is considered one of the three most prized hardwoods, along with rosewood and ironwood.
Ebony wood has long been known as a prized hardwood, and the heartwood used in products is characterized by its jet-black color, dense, heavy, and strong texture.

In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.

Prayer beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.
