The “Kyo-nenjo of Satsuma Kasatsuma” is created by the Kyo-nenju maker of the Kobe Tamazu store, who carefully draws delicate and delicate flowers on the main ball.
For the main ball, Kofu polished natural crystal supervised by Mr. Joji Dobashi, a traditional craftsman from Koshu crystal precious stone crafts in Kofu, Yamanashi prefecture, is used.
There was a pottery called "Kyosatsuma" in Kyoto for only a few decades from the early Meiji period to the Taisho period. The "Kyosatsuma" made for export has captivated many Westerners with its brilliant and elaborate craftsmanship, but its technique has not been passed down to the present and is also called a phantom vessel.
Impressed by the work of "Kyosatsuma" in the Meiji era, the sky woman was revived in modern times. And it was "Satsuma" that realized not only pottery but also more detailed drawing on porcelain. It is the original name of Sorajo.
A special paulownia box, a gem that can be used as a gift for loved ones.
In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.
Prayer beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.
