Handmade in Kyoto, JAPAN

Kumano cypress carefully selected by Yamaichi Lumber based in Shingu, Wakayama Prefecture. The hinoki cypress in the forest of Kumano, a World Heritage Site, has been made into a gem that makes the most of the gentle texture of the material.

Beautiful shades that make full use of the colors of nature. It is a natural plant dyed silk thread hand-dyed by Umezome Yuzen dyer Akira Yamamoto.

A bunch of Kumihimo from Shoen in Uji, Kyoto, which manufactures new Kumihimo based on tradition. The dyed silk thread is carefully knitted to create a nice tuft.

In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.

Prayer beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.

Maintenance

Take off when you shower and before going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend you to take it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with soft fabric.
