About black onyx
The onyx stone is one of the most important black gemstones for your spiritual and meditative practices. It actually comes in several colours, but the most commonly known one is black. Historically, it was believed by many that it was the cause of disagreements and conflict between friends. Now, however, the stone is believed to have numerous positive qualities instead, for example grounding and balancing yourself, giving you motivation and continuously pushing you forward in your life. It works well as a protective stone as well.
There is a Heart Sutra on every beads.
In Japan, Buddhists use Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is a famous producing center of Prayer beads.
