About Sandalwood
Sandalwood is characterized by a refreshing, sweet fragrance and has long been prized as a noble aromatic wood. Because it emits a rich scent even without the application of heat, it is used in a wide variety of everyday items—ranging from Buddhist statues and bracelets to other ritual objects—and is also known as an ingredient in incense. It has long been cherished as an amulet for warding off evil.

In Japan, Buddhists use prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a center for prayer bead production.
Maintenance
Natural wood and natural stone are sensitive to chemicals and sweat. We also recommend removing them before exercising, showering, or sleeping. Please wipe clean with a soft cloth. Store in the box when not in use and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
