What are juzu and what are they used for
One-handed prayer beads. It can be used by any Buddhist school. In Japan, Buddhists use prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is a famous producing center.
Prayer beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, count prostrations, or the repetitions of a Buddha's name.
