About tsuge wood
Tsuge (Japanese boxwood) is relatively small tree with a height of 1 to 3 m. It is a hardwood and it has a yellowish color.
About green aventurine
Green aventurine derive its name from the Italian expression "a ventura" meaning "by chance", referring to the mica flakes that are randomly spread on the surface. It is a type of translucent quartz that gets its green color from a concentration from the fuchsite. A majority of the green aventurine mined today is found in India, from here the name "Indian jade".
Aventurine is considered a stone of chance and good luck, bringing new opportunities in your life thus increasing the possibilities of success.
In Japan, Buddhists use prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is a famous producing center of Prayer beads.
Maintenance
Take off when you shower and before going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend you to take it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with soft fabric.
