Tsuge (Japanese box) wood is a hardwood. It is commonly used as a material for Japanese crafts.
Maintenance
Take off when you shower and before going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend you to take it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with soft fabric.
In Japan, Buddhists use Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is a famous producing center of Prayer beads.
