About sandalwood
Sandalwood is the second-most expensive wood in the world, the wood and the oil have been renowned for centuires for their distinctive fragrance.
Sandalwood oil has a distinctive soft, warm, smooth, creamy, and milky precious-wood scent.
In some Buddhist traditions, sandalwood is considered to be of the padma (lotus) group and attributed to Amitabha Buddha. Its scent is believed by some to transform one's desires and maintain a person's alertness during meditation. It is also one of the most popular scents used when offering incense to the Buddha and the guru.
It makes a perfect gift or souvenir.
In Japan, Buddhists use prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is a famous producing center of Prayer beads.
Maintenance
Take off when you shower and before going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend you to take it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with soft fabric.
