About lignum vitae
Lignum vitae comes from Latin and means "tree of life" or "wood of life" because of its wide range of medicinal uses. This wood is one of the heaviest and the hardest and its durability makes it perfect for a multiplicity of uses. It has the feature of changing color to a deeper green.
About Jadeite
According to Chinese culture, if your soul feels like it needs a little healing, you should reach for some jade. This brilliant gemstone holds a lot of cultural weight: said to bring its wearer happiness, health and good fortune, jade also used to be used as a symbol of class and wealth, for a good reason. Real jade can be pricey, especially if it’s jadeite, the rarer, more valuable form of jade.
In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.
Maintenance
Take off when you shower and before going to bed. The material is sensitive to chemicals and excessive sweat. We recommend you to take it off when doing sports and cleaning. Wipe with soft fabric.
