Lignum Vitae Wood :
Lignum vitae wood is said to be the densest wood in the world, grows extremely slowly, and extremely rare, so it is called a "wooden jewel" and is prized.
It has the characteristic of changing to a deeper green color over time. It has been treated like a jewel, since ancient times It was only allowed to have by aristocrats

Jadeite :
According to Chinese culture, if your soul feels like it needs a little healing, you should reach for some jade. This brilliant gemstone holds a lot of cultural weight: said to bring its wearer happiness, health and good fortune, jade also used to be used as a symbol of class and wealth, for good reason. Real jade can be pricey, especially if it’s jadeite, the rarer, more valuable form of jade.

This is a one-handed prayer beads. Since it is an abbreviated rosary, it can be used by any sect.

In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.

Prayer beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.
