[What is KUMIHIMO]
Kumihimo is the Japanese for "gathered threads" and it is a kind of braid-making in which cords and ribbons are made by interlacing strands.
Kumihimo also appears in the movie "Your name" where is used by Mitsuha to tie her hair and by Taki as a bracelet
The braid's history is old, it has been used in various ways such as braid of court dress and as a crown attire, and also as a string for armor.
Thank to the magnet clasp it is easy to put on and take off.

I received a gift from my senpai years back and I lost it because of a weak magnet. I reverse image searched it and Kumihimo came up! The knot is a little different so I'm not sure if it's the same brand, but I bought a similar one because I was so sad I lost the first one as it was so sentimental.
