About Itoigawa Jade
Itoigawa jade was born deep underground 500 million years ago and emerged above ground 250 million years ago. Jadeite use began during the Jomon period, and it is one of the oldest places in the world where jadeite processing has been carried out.
About Jade
Jade is the stone representing calm in the midst of a storm. It's said to balance nerves and sooth cardiac rhythm. A piece of Jade kept in a pocket or on a pendant is believed to recharge energy and protect against illness. Jade may also be used to sooth the shock or fear of the ill in the hospital suffering the distance from home and family.
In Japan, Buddhists have Prayer beads (Juzu, Nenju). Kyoto is famous as a producing center of Prayer beads.

Almost items are shipped by standard airmail with tracking service and insurance (ePacket).
Expensive or big items are shipped by express airmail (EMS).
